Always thinking of, praying for and missing my children November 11 2013
There is an old adage of "distance makes the heart grow fonder".
My mother told me this the first Christmas I moved out of Kentucky pertaining to my girlfriend of 3 years.
I learned about a week later that this adage is...nonsense.
What I felt then is nothing in comparison to being away from one's own children. Divorce, and custody issues, is not a science and (sadly) leaves scars both that are visible (acting out, disrespect, etc.) and equally devastating...in their minds, hearts and souls.
No one "wins" in these matters and the children (sadly) "lose" so much it is almost incalculable.
I miss, love, think of and pray for each of my children and I will continue to do so.
Take care and may God bless you.
