DELL Inspiron function keys shortcuts (by Jeff Schrembs)

This applies to Dell Inspiron laptops using Windows 8 or 8.1

Hold down the WINDOWS ICON (bottom row of keyboard 3rd key from left) and then PRESS the following numeric keys:

Note: these keys can be used from the keyboard (second row from the top that shows the numbers or from the number lock on the far right side of the keyboard)

While holding down the WINDOWS ICON button (and these shortcuts should work)

Press 1 = Internet
Press 2 = My computer or This PC
Press 3 = Movie Maker
Press 4 = My Dell
Press 5 = Internet
Press 6 = Dell Checkup
Press 7 = Notepad
Press 8 = Windows Media Player
Press 9 = Default Programs
Press 0 (ZERO) = Task Manager
