SOLVED - CD/DVD player not recognized in Windows 10

HOW TO FIX CD DVD NOT RECOGNIZED WINDOWS 10
1) Right click the start button and open an admin command prompt (run as administrator)
2) Copy and paste this; reg.exe add “HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\atapi\Controller0” /f /v EnumDevice1 /t REG_DWORD /d 0x00000001
***** Note: if you are unable to use the COPY function you can use “CTRL key on your dashboard and C” (you have to hold down the CTRL key and C key at same time
*** Note: if you are unable to PASTE then hold down the CTRL key and the “V” key (you have to hold the CTRL and the V key at the same time)
3) Close the command prompt box (use the X in the upper right corner)
4) Restart your computer
5) Insert a cd or dvd and it should play.
6) Congratulations and please share this post, and/or make comments, on social media and the old fashioned way...word of mouth. By doing so it will help others to fix this problem for good, and it aggravated me for months before I fixed it, and increase traffic to this blog. Even though I do not, in any way, monetized this site (or my others including www.ElvisCollector.info, www.ElvisExpert.com, etc.) increase in traffic is highly beneficial to me personally.
